It's here! My first fixie. This ghetto conversion is based on an old british BSA touring frame from the 60's sporting older, 27 inch wheels. Threw everything together and took it for a test run today. Takes some time to get used to, but turns out riding a fixed gear bike isn't as hard as one would think. Thank god for the front brake though, I would never have the balls to ride brakeless.
Future plans include an oldschool Brooks saddle and some skinnier tires. Maybe a new drop bar and pedals, too :)
Looking at your bike made me want to take mine from my bedroom(bikes should be indoors when not in use!) and I did although I only rode up and down my garden.
